TEG-HOMECARE – Standard (5 sites)

Description

Five Standard site licenses for groups and agencies. Every install carries a free 30-day Pro trial with no sign-up. A license is for one WordPress site; codes are Ed25519-signed and verified offline, so the plugin keeps working if our server is down. When a license lapses nothing is deleted – every screen stays readable and the data can be exported.

• A visit record is evidence, not a note. Electronic Visit Verification wants six things about every visit – service type, individual receiving, date, LOCATION, individual providing, and the times it began and ended. A visit typed up on Friday from memory satisfies none of them, and a payer that audits takes the money back.
• So the six are fields, captured at the point of care, with HOW each end was captured recorded beside it – because an office-entered time is the one an auditor pulls first.
• The location check is not an accusation: a clock-in 300 meters out is flagged with the distance, after subtracting the reading’s own accuracy, and left for a human. Phones drift and rural signal is poor.
• Corrections are NEW ROWS, never edits. An audit that finds an amended clock-in treats the whole file as unreliable.
• Plans of care with a review date counted down, and services checked against them – work nobody authorized is generally not billable.
• Caregiver credentials as separate records with separate clocks – background check, registry check, TB, CPR, training, license – where a lapsed one refuses to schedule that person. Supervisory visits counted down before they fall due.

New add-on – coming soon: TEG Rover, a phone app for staff who travel to clients’ homes (it is not an EVV system). The office schedules house calls with a priority and a checklist per visit type; an on-shift technician claims one from the open board (two can never take the same call), gets spoken turn-by-turn directions or opens Google or Apple Maps, and must tick every checklist item to complete the visit, which uploads and closes the call. GPS check-ins every 5-10 minutes ONLY while on shift, with the closest technician suggested to the office; a visit finished without signal is sent when the signal returns; each phone pairs by scanning a QR code with its own revocable key, no passwords. Your data stays on your own site and there is no monthly fee per technician. Android first, iPhone later. In testing now; sold separately, pricing to be announced.

What this is not. It cannot make anybody compliant, and does not claim to. Regulations change, they are interpreted by the people who enforce them, and the operator remains responsible. It also does not transmit to a state EVV aggregator – that is a vendor integration and every state does it differently – so check what your own payer mix requires. What it does is make it hard to lose a record and easy to see a gap, which is worth a great deal and is a different thing.
