TEG-ELECTRIC – Standard (5 sites)

Description

Five Standard site licenses for a group of branches. Every install carries a free 30-day Pro trial with no sign-up. A license is for one WordPress site; codes are Ed25519-signed and verified offline, so the plugin keeps working if our server is down. When a license lapses nothing is deleted – the business is paused rather than locked, every screen stays readable and the data can be exported.

• Customers and the properties they own, so a landlord with forty flats is one customer and forty sites – each carrying its property type, occupier, access notes, supply type and phases, main fuse, board make and location, earthing, bonding, Ze, PFC and hazards, written once and carried onto every certificate after that.
• A week board by engineer with an unassigned pile, and a job sheet that holds labor and parts in one list, labor in whole minutes because half an hour on a timesheet is exact and 0.5 of an hour in floating point is not – with isolation and risk notes, a signature, and a timeline that settles an argument about when somebody turned up.
• Engineers with their competent-person scheme and number, card, wiring regulations edition, inspection qualification, insurance, hourly rate, a color for the board, and whether they may certify at all – with the expiry dates held where the board can warn before a job is worked on a lapsed qualification.
• Certificates as records rather than documents: condition reports with a circuit schedule a way at a time (board, way, wiring type, reference method, conductor sizes, device and RCD, R1, Rn, R2, R1+R2, insulation, polarity, Zs, RCD trip time and AFDD), installation certificates, minor works, and appliance testing as an asset register tested again and again.
• Readings kept as written, not as numbers, because “>999” and “N/A” are real answers on a certificate and a numeric column turns both into zero, which reads as a failed test rather than an untested circuit.
• Observations coded C1, C2, C3 and FI against the circuit they were found on, with the regulation, the recommendation, whether they are still open and the job that put them right – and the outstanding C1 and C2 count on the front page in red, because that is the number a contractor is exposed by.
• Renewal dates worked out per certificate kind and property type, so a domestic house, a rented property and a commercial unit are not chased on the same clock, with a warning window you set.
• Quotes with optional lines, a validity date and a lost reason, converted into a job when they are won; invoices built from the job sheet with the cost kept beside the price; payments with their method and reference; and the construction-industry deduction taken from labor only.
• Parts with categories and units, stock per location, and a van per engineer restocked from the store in one form, with a movement ledger behind it.
• Two roles created at activation, Electrician and Office, and a permissions matrix over six powers including the one that decides who may sign and issue a certificate.
• Unlimited engineers. Twenty-three tables of contractor data in your own WordPress database.

New add-on – coming soon: TEG Rover, a phone app for electricians out on service calls, estimate visits and permit inspections. The office schedules service calls, estimate visits and permit inspections with a priority and a checklist per visit type; an on-shift electrician claims one from the open board (two can never take the same call), gets spoken turn-by-turn directions or opens Google or Apple Maps, and must tick every checklist item to complete the visit, which uploads and closes the call. GPS check-ins every 5-10 minutes ONLY while on shift, with the closest electrician suggested to the office; a visit finished without signal is sent when the signal returns; each phone pairs by scanning a QR code with its own revocable key, no passwords. The job checklist is worked through on site, and the customer signs off on the phone when the work is done. Certificates and test readings are not filled in on the phone: they stay in TEG-ELECTRIC’s own screens. Your data stays on your own site and there is no monthly fee per electrician. Android first, iPhone later. In testing now; sold separately, pricing to be announced.

What it is not, and what is still being written: it does not print on a competent-person scheme’s own certificate forms and it does not notify a job to a scheme – it records the scheme, the membership number and the notification reference and prints its own layout. It takes no card payments of its own: the payment, its method and its reference are recorded. There is no offline app for the van. And in 1.0.0 the schema, the license, the settings, the permissions, the customers and the dashboard are in while the diary, quotes, certificates, invoices, parts, engineers, reminders, reports and customer page are still being written: each appears in the menu as its module lands.
